Tegan and Peri, under Cyberman mind control, lure Ace and Rose into the hands of the cybermen, who have decided that they’re so screwed, their only chance is to try to force the Doctor into helping them by using his companions as blackmail. Even as they strap the girls into the cyberman conversion modules, they are interrupted by the sounds of materialization.

There’s something truly precious about Ace and Rose bonding over blowing up Cybermen and Daleks. Guy Fawkes effigy…hee hee! I can just see that warehouse going up in flames while UNIT watches in bewilderment.
Seriously though, since when have the Cybermen possessed mind control? Could someone give me the serial title?

I just need to say, this webcomic is one of the most awsome things I have ever seen. You have all the Doctors’ mannerisems exactly right, I especially like 7 and 10- but then they are my favorate Doctors anyway.
My favorate bit so far is 3 takeing 9 aside to critisise his relatioship with Rose. That’s so him, he allways was the prefect gentleman! I remember him gallantly helping Joe across varios quarries, ah how times have changed.
I also have to give my hartfelt support to Ace, she has said the things to Rose I think we all secretly wanted to say. Refering to her as “Barbie” was particually appropreate! And she’s moved on to Peri now too- why has she become the voice of the fans, critisiseing the useless companions? And she definately isn’t useless, in fact I think Ace has done more usefull stuff than most of the Doctors so far.
I keep wandering who the MAIN villen is, the one who’se manipulateing all the others.
My mony’s on the Valyard so far, but I think the Master, Omaga and possibly even 6 have shots at being the Big Bad. Only time will tell who will outsmart whom.
The only charicter I havn’t instently recongnised so far is the one explaining the plot to Omaga. Who is he? I assume he’s from a black-and-white story, as I havn’t seen all of those.

You know Rich, it must be horrible for the doctor to be involved with the same story 10 times but from different perspectives. It’s like having too many voices telling you what to do but you have to follow your own direction with the hindsight of other directions. Well that what it would be like for Dr Who no.10 to have 9 hindsight views. For Dr Who no9 it would be like having 8 hindsight view, etc. Hey whatever happen to The Dalek Emperor? Where does he come up, eh? Wasn’t he the one who lead the War at first?

in response to WhoRU: i think the Dalek Emperor only came about because the Daleks were almost annhilated in the Time War…since that isn’t looking to happen at this moment, i think the Emperor doesn’t exist - yet.

Ace&Rose seem like they fit well together. They had some rough edges at first, but they’re both firey, jump-right-into-the-action kind of young women. I agree with every one so far who has said it will be 9 to the rescue. We haven’t seen 9 in a long long long long(I’m not very subtle Rich) long time! : D I’d be the first to divide up Ten amoungst his fans- give me blue eyes and a leather jacket anyday.

The Cybermen have used mind control at least since “The Moonbase,” their second story. I don’t remember them using it in “The Tenth Planet,” but I haven’t watched that story in a long time.
