The 10 Doctors - Page 93
Tegan and Peri find a curious excavation site while wandering around the bowels of the cyberlab in the complex under the warehouse. They attempt to find a way out and nearly run into a group of cybermen who are about to awaken the still-dormant Silurians who have been outfitted with cybercontrol units.
The companions are captured before they can make a break for it.
(Observant geeks readers will probably ask: “Why doesn’t Tegan recognize the Silurians? After all, she was in the second of two episodes they appeared in - Warriors of the Deep. Well, the answer is quite simple. The 5th Doctor, Tegan and Turlough were pulled from their time line shortly after The Five Doctors and before that episode! So as far as Tegan is concerned here, that hasn’t happened yet. )

the nights must have flown past on Trion…
anyway, nice going…more please

[Edited by admin - line breaks are your friends!]

Awesome, my two favorite companions together.
May 14th, 2008 at 10:16 pm
Silurians, cybermen and captured companions, oh my!
May 14th, 2008 at 10:27 pm
…I think I need to reread, I’ve totally forgotten what’s going on.
I am, however, VERY fond of the body language. Also:
Hark: Awesome! You broke the page!
May 14th, 2008 at 10:34 pm
Well, at least I caught this one before I went to bed!
Just gets better and better
May 14th, 2008 at 10:35 pm
Whoa, webpage got a little weird there….
And we get back to the companions. I always liked both Tegan and Peri. Shame they’re about to die.
May 14th, 2008 at 11:17 pm
Silurians! I always expected them to make a come back. If they ruled the planet umpteen million years ago, then they couldn’t have only the two colonies seen in the Third Doctor era (and apparently the Fifth Doctor’s era as well.)
And as I just typo-ed nearly every word in that paragraph, I’m going to sleep.

I was just linked here by a friend and have binged on the entire series over the last two days. I’m largely unfamiliar with the old Who, but this has been a brilliant introduction to them. I’ve positively enjoyed following along and squeeing whenever you’ve thrown in a bit of something that I ‘get’. Thanks for putting this out there for us.
May 14th, 2008 at 11:59 pm
Oh Snap!
May 15th, 2008 at 12:03 am
Great page. I can almost hear their different accents, and you have their mannerisms down pat. Also……..Cyber-Silurians! How cool is that!
May 15th, 2008 at 12:05 am
Hi Rich,
I came aboard a few days ago, thanks to a link at the Help Desk comic (http://www.ubersoft.net ). I love the detail you’ve brought to this strip!
May 15th, 2008 at 12:21 am
Silurians,Cybermen, and daleks oh my! Great page Rich another page so quickly!
May 15th, 2008 at 1:02 am
Cyber-Silurians :3 awesome. I am sure that you will run out of recurring monsters to cameo pretty soon. Hmmm…you haven’t done Yeti yet. Or Ood or Macra or Slitheen. Please spare us the Slitheen…lol.
Re: the g33k note. Ah, I thought that you had made a mistake and put Tegan in her Warriors of the Deep outfit, but after some quick googling I see the Five Doctors outfit is very similar in it’s kaleidoscopic madness. Her hair is a bit long for the Five Doctors, but it looks better at the length you drew it…
May 15th, 2008 at 1:34 am
Holy Hanna, Rich. How many did you have going at once??? Good to see so many updates. But don’t kill yourself doing it.
May 15th, 2008 at 1:47 am
Cyber-Silurians?!?!?!?! I think I’ve just been gobsmacked into a different dimension! THAT is the coolest thing yet. I am loving the rapid updates very much. I know it won’t last, but I can dream.

BTW, did Perri get… uh… bigger in panel 3?
May 15th, 2008 at 3:28 am
An interesting turn of events. It’s about time we heard about Peri and Tegan. Another suspenseful ending…If my friend hadn’t checked this today, i’d have been denied another page of this wonderful comic for a day (or two)!
Keep it up! (No pressure, Rich. I’m sure most of us don’t expect daily updates and we’d hardly like you to die from overworking!)
In answer to DrkFire666: I think Peri always seemed a little…big. Just a little more so on this page.
May 15th, 2008 at 3:32 am
*vows to make “oh rabbits!” his new expletive*
May 15th, 2008 at 3:55 am
Peri seems um, well-endowed, in frame 3.
May 15th, 2008 at 4:10 am
*Three new pages three new…* (stops jumping up and down from exhaustion)
Cyber-Silurians –Oh rabbits! Now the girls are in trouble.
Combining those two monsters will leave a whole new level of lach-of-mimical-expression
May 15th, 2008 at 4:22 am
*does a happy dance*
Rich you are without a doubt my new hero
May 15th, 2008 at 5:13 am
wow are u going o add Donna And Micky ? wow 2 new pages keep up the plot
May 15th, 2008 at 6:39 am
Wow, I keep forgetting how many sub-storylines there are now! It’s amazing that you remember them all Rich, and it also tells me that this comic is gonna continue for quite some time….

thx
ill remember the line breaks next time.
I promise!!
May 15th, 2008 at 7:55 am
When the drought breaks, it really breaks. Another 2 updates hard on the heels of the last 2. I have got to join in with everyone else here: cyber-silurians, how awesome! That silurian close-up in panel 7 is fabulous; it must have been a cow to draw, but the detail is incredible.
May 15th, 2008 at 12:08 pm
I continue to be amazed by the various continuity references, I’m hoping for the appearance of a Cyber-Merkur, maybe called up by some White Robots lead by the Kandyman.
May 15th, 2008 at 1:10 pm
Well…that’s certainly a cooler reason for a giant pit than in Runaway Bride!
May 15th, 2008 at 5:28 pm
make peri dress as she did in planet of fire please! but a bit less detail
May 15th, 2008 at 8:21 pm
Ooh. There go the Cybermen with their whole “convert other species” plan again. Persistent buggers, aren’t they?
All hail the mad genius of Rich!
May 16th, 2008 at 6:47 am
M4rk: Peri was always well endowed.
May 17th, 2008 at 12:24 am
Wow, the Silurians (aka Ecocenes, according to The Doctor), definitely love your incorporation of Classic Who villains. As for Peri, yes, even Dicky Howitt who used to do spoof strips of Doctor Who, has made fun of her well endowment. In fact, when they were making light of an Anniversary Special for Doctor Who, they show the wardrobe lady showing Peri her costume, a two-piece bikini, with Peri looking rather perturbed.
As for Tegan, she’s been rather an enigma to me. She tries running away a lot from trouble only to get into more trouble. Once, if you recall, she even tried escaping a ship with The Doctor’s TARDIS, much to no avail. And ironically, The Doctor wasn’t too cross with her, when you know he’d kill anyone else for doing that.
But you will admit one thing, the Cybermen are persistent, are they not?
May 18th, 2008 at 7:11 pm
I don’t think I’d recognise Peri if she wasn’t so big. No matter how good the likeness of her face.
May 19th, 2008 at 8:48 am
Tegan!
*and Peri*
Peri is so realistic…wh…what…will…it…ruin my…outfit????
May 19th, 2008 at 9:09 pm
Peri needs to say “All these corridors look the same” sometime.
June 10th, 2008 at 1:21 pm
I just noticed after looking at this page again… the cyber control units somewhat resemble EarPods. Does Lumic have a hand in the Cybermen’s schemes?
June 30th, 2008 at 9:31 am
Is it just me does do Peri’s boobs keep getting bigger (not that I’m complaning). Just look at teh difference between panel one and panel three.
June 30th, 2008 at 9:41 am
Didn’t think they were getting BIGGER. But they are BIG.
