The 10 Doctors: Page 68
The 8th Doctor gets Leela to tell about her life on Gallifrey and what changes have happened recently. It seems that when the tribunal returned (from “Trial of a Time Lord”) things started to go to pot. Which is a shock, because things weren’t all that wonderful beforehand either. The 8th Doctor is starting to clue in.

Wow. This gets more interesting and exciting by day. The Doctors are starting to get a clue!
November 27th, 2007 at 8:09 am
Ok, okay, now I’m REALLY addicted. Thanks Rich
November 27th, 2007 at 9:23 am
im enjoying this as much as i have Elf Quest!, which i still need to complete, im missing a few books, id so love to see this printed and bound!,
November 27th, 2007 at 9:49 am
Ok, I found the missing bits (you really ought to make the links actually link from Who to Who and not elsewhere) and am now fully caught up.
This is SO COOL!
Added to my faves page.

Four hundred and fifty two? My. She doesn’t look a day over sixty. I can only presume that either humans live much, much longer lives in the presumed future and after living under the power of a Mad God-Computer, or else the Time Lords have an incredibly advanced medical science that reduces the wear and tear of aging (even for humans).
So, the Valeyard is up to his old scheming. Kidnapping children, abusing the Matrix, alliances with the Renegade Daleks…
Between Davros, the Rani and the Valeyard, the Doctors would be better off allied with the Master of all people!

Ray: This is not a Dr. Who blog. This is an “all of Rich’s comics that aren’t YAFGC” blog. There are three ways to navigate the blog, one (1) of which (the ‘next’ buttons) also pages through the other comic strips automatically. If one method doesn’t work for you, please do rely on the others.
Thanks for reading and enjoying!
November 27th, 2007 at 12:37 pm
Oh no! not the Valeyard!:O
November 27th, 2007 at 12:59 pm
This is absolutely fantastic! You’ve put so much in, but it keeps moving ahead so quickly, and it’s damned funny. Plus, the bit when 5 and 10 meet is surprisingly like Time Crash, despite predating but quite a while. Great stuff!
November 27th, 2007 at 1:17 pm
*salivating in anticipation for more*
November 27th, 2007 at 2:10 pm
Lovely!
I’m glad to see Leela led apparently a full and (reasonably) happy life in the caves outside the capitol. The fate of Andred and the children will clearly give us more insight into what is going on..and in the meantime - looking forward to seeing what is going to happen next!
November 27th, 2007 at 2:34 pm
Hah! Valeyard! I called it! Sorry, I’m not usually one to gloat. Oh but sometimes it feels so good.
Well, as for Leela’s age, I’m not sure. I don’t remember that episode too horrorshow. Do they live that long? I think Inutaisho01 is right, it must be the medical care on Gallifrey. Andred must be in BUPA.
As for the children, Isn’t that just Timelord tradition to snatch kids a 8 years old?
November 27th, 2007 at 3:31 pm
Ah…The Junkyard, and Maxil…What a fun team. I wonder what the Scrapyard’s got up his sleeves. And teaming up with the Daleks…For being a sideways incarnation of the Doctor, the Brickyard’s a bit of a thickie. And as far as the children…Hmmmm…The Rani’s cybernetic experements? Or maybe the Daleks future ability to time travel (hence messing with the Matrix)?
Twisted…
November 27th, 2007 at 3:47 pm
(being nitpicky) Leela shouldn’t use contractions. She never did before. Her language was very formal. Told you it was nitpicky.
As usual, I love it! Can’t wait for more!
November 27th, 2007 at 3:52 pm
Question: Why has Leela’s agoing slowed so much? She’s human, right? She shouldn’t be alive at age 452.
November 27th, 2007 at 7:15 pm
Ah Rich, I loves so much… I never want it to end. Yay for Leela!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have ye heard who is returning in series 4???!!!!??!?!?!
November 27th, 2007 at 10:02 pm
I heard a rumor it was Davros
November 27th, 2007 at 11:06 pm
Fabulous! I love this all, and I especially love the drawings, and the detail. They’re beautiful.
And, aww! I love the panel where Leela feels the Doctor’s face. I’m such a sap. Got to say, though, I’m missing 10 and 1. Where are they?
November 27th, 2007 at 11:40 pm
Rose is back for series 4.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/news/cult/news/drwho/2007/11/27/51031.shtml
I also heard that Davros was comming back. Jimmy Vee (Moxx of Balhoon) is rumoured to play him.
November 27th, 2007 at 11:41 pm
Lactose: You’re welcome!
I’m pretty hooked to now. And more intricatly so.
Gecks: Don’t think anyone would go for printing this scribbly scratchy comic. Besides, I’d get hammered hard by the BBC, methinks.
Inutaisho01: Yeah, I had a bit of dialogue that I didn’t bother doing where they explain why she’s lived so long. But it was boring and I wanted to get on with the story a bit. I may stick it in later.
DrkFire666: *applauds his foresight* As for snatching the children… it’s supposedly customary to take the children of Time Lords at the age of 8 to start their training as a wiz–erm– Time Lord… but that probably doesn’t include the outsiders.
Shade: Weeee shall seeeeeeee…
Liz: Yeah, I know. But speaking in non-contractions takes up a lot of room. Besides, she’s been on Gallifrey living with outsiders for a few centuries. She’s picked up some new habits.
Jess: There are time when I feel you may get your wish. And *sigh* Yeah. I’ve heard. Woop.
Shade: I like your rumour better.
Kara: Keep on a’reading. I’ve got to get my little story advances out in chunks or it won’t make sense even to me.
November 27th, 2007 at 11:42 pm
Yay update! This is getting all very dark and twisted, and I love it!
That’s probably the most backstory in one panel I’ve ever seen =)
November 27th, 2007 at 11:50 pm
Yeah, those are some heavy bubbles.
November 28th, 2007 at 1:03 am
We shall see about which theory?
November 28th, 2007 at 2:02 am
in regards to being hammered, terribly true, still perhaps one might be allowed to print and get this comic bound for ones own personal delight?
November 28th, 2007 at 7:49 am
Shade: I ain’t sayin’.
Gecks: One couldn’t stop you!
November 28th, 2007 at 8:05 am
WOW! i’m loving this, i only got into Doctor Who recently (since the newer series began) and i’m hooked! it’s really good to be able to see what the other Doctors used to be like
November 28th, 2007 at 9:55 am
452? Damn, there must be something really good in Gallifreyan air.
Though watch it on the spoilers, guys. I’d hate to have to stop reading the comments because people insist on spilling the beans for Season 4 events that I’ve been so carefully avoiding learning about until now.
November 28th, 2007 at 11:31 am
I figured you wouldn’t, but I had to try…And Heather, is it really a spoiler if the BBC announces it (Rose, anyway. Davros is just an unconfermed rumor, that us fanboys like to banter on about).
Though, there is one interesting thing I’ve noticed. In the upcoming Christmas speacial, the gal is named Astrid Peth…Now knowing Russell T. Davies love of anagrams…Except for that extra “P” that doesn’t fit anywhere, you get “The TARDIS”
November 28th, 2007 at 3:42 pm
Ok, since Rich decided NOT to answer my question, I’ll repeat it: Why is Leela alive. She’s a human- shouldn’t she have aged like one?
November 28th, 2007 at 3:49 pm
it’s times like this i wish my mother had moved to england, instead of my father moving to australia, id be gettin’ ready for season four, this coming december, but noooooo, i have to wait till june/july!, damn stinking rotten stupid jackanapes! blah!
*rant rave complain moan*
November 28th, 2007 at 6:08 pm
In regards to rose. *sigh* agrees with Rich on that one. I hadn’t heard about Davros though. That sounds much more exciting.
And am in complete Agreement with Gecks on having to wait… grrrrr…
And in regards to the comic. Am on the edge of my seat to see what comes next! Still loving it!
November 28th, 2007 at 7:56 pm
Oooohhh, the plot thickens… Keep up the good work Rich, I’m addicted.
November 28th, 2007 at 8:03 pm
Liz: just living on Gallifrey slows her age. The audios (Gallifrey/Zagreus) say the same thing.
November 28th, 2007 at 8:28 pm
Hel: Welcome to the fangeekdom. It’s a massive and exciting show!
Heather and Lisa: You’re right, I’m sorry. I was going to put something in the comic about her age, but the time for that is past, I guess. I just figured that with her living a healthy warrior lifestyle on a super-advanced planet, hanging out with Gallifreyans and being married to one who lives in the citadel… she’d have some advantages. Add to that the fact that she’s decended from future space-faring Earthlings… How old was Cassandra ultimately? Before she augmented herself into a curtain of skin, I mean?
Shade: Well, yes, it can be. I didn’t need to know that the Master was going to be resurrected before they did the magnificent reveal. It might have been great to be surprised.
Gecks: As a Canadian, I’m sympathetic. But not too much. I’ve got a computer.
Kitti Kat: Yay! Drew a bunch just today in fact….
November 28th, 2007 at 10:35 pm
What! Your Canadien? where?(if you dont mind)
P.S. I’m reeding this in Ottawa.
November 29th, 2007 at 4:21 am
Well, I know for a fact that the Sontarans are returning in 4. Haven’t heard anything about Davvy/
I love the way you have Leela switching back and forth between her traditional speech patterns and something more sophisticated.
November 29th, 2007 at 6:56 am
Phil - I grew up in Montreal, QC, moved out to Halifax, NS a few years ago. Been to Ottawa many times! Lovely place. Got some great friends there.
EML: Yeah, “Dimensions in Time”, which truely blew, but which I’ve already referenced in this comic, indicated that Leela’s time on Gallifrey gave her some education but didn’t change her that much. She understands some of the longer words now.
November 30th, 2007 at 7:27 pm
Thank’s, Magebear. I’ve never heard the audios.
December 1st, 2007 at 11:56 pm
This sounds a bit like the Gallifreyian Big Finish audio series! (without President Romana, though.)
