Always did like 2 & 7, even though as a teenager I was dead against the casting of McCoy. After all, he was famous before then for shoving ferrets doon his trews. But, I did grow to love him, much more than shouty, grumpy 6.

Rich, thanks once again for this wonderful e-comic, makes the wait until Chrimbo much easier. My wee boy (4 & 1/2 years old) is dead impressed that his Daddy “talks” to someone connected to Lunar Jim! He desperately wants to watch Who but I don’t think he is ready yet.

Hope you are still enjoying fatherhood. Gets easier but with less free time, esp when number two comes along & all - we also have a 28 weeks old gorgeous girl.

On the discussion about the Cushing/movie incarnation, and otherwise a digression, I’ve always thought it would be fun to have a one-off adventure of Rose in the alternate universe, in which she meets that dimension’s version of the Doctor–which would be either the Cushing Doctor, or the TV Comic version of Doctor #1, complete with annoying grandchildren John and Jillian. Played strictly for laughs, in the “Case of Fatal Death” vein, of course. Hmm… Now there’s an idea for an out-of-cannon Children in Need special…
