Whee! I get a Ten Doctors fix before work!! *boogies*
September 25th, 2007 at 7:42 am
*le gasp!* No! Turn around turn around, you missed him!
Eight gets a clue, hurrah! But wait… if someone on Gallifrey is at the root of a paradox… and Nine and Ten not remembering their past self IS a paradox… then the root of it is… OH NOES! This does not bode well! *clings to Eight*
Am breathlessly awaiting more! Do update soon!

I just have to say, I found this web comic by total accident! I was so excited to find the beginning of the story and start reading!!! THIS IS WHAT WE AS FANS WANT FROM AN ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL!!! Now, I just wish copyright laws would not hinder this story from ever seeing book form… Keep up the good work! To paraphrase Stan Lee, “you keep writing ‘em, I’ll keep reading ‘em!”

This page and the previous one have really shown me just how well you can capture the look of the different Doctors.
It’s also evolved a decent amount since the first pages. Keep it up — it’s just getting better!

All together now… D’OH!!
I am getting just a little confused, though… if this is Ten’s past, as it must be, how was that business about the TARDIS interior being relative to Gallifrey’s present (meaning, Gallifrey’s future comparative to where they’ve landed) relevant? Or is this Gallifrey as it is now (meaning the relative present by the perspective of Ten and his TARDIS), even though it should be destroyed? Either way, I’m a little surprised 10 isn’t having more of a reaction to coming home. Of course, on a mission like this you have to keep on task. But maybe he’ll have himself a moment of sincere contemplation and regret when they stop by a plaza and he notices a view of Gallifrey’s orange sky, and the mountains in the distance…
Now, wouldn’t it be awful if all these villains running around were just a bunch of red herrings, and it turned out that all of this was due to 8 taking the wrong TARDIS to the pub?

At this moment, the 10th Doctor isn’t entirely convinced he’s ON Gallifrey. Because logically they shouldn’t be. It was destroyed.

It’s all about temporal paradoxes with the Doctor, isn’t it…Dun Dun DUNNN!
Can’t wait to see Ten’s reaction to Cmdr. Maxil, if there’s gonna be one. Bring on the next page!

Ooh… My head hurts…
Eighth Doctor looks like he’s been drawn a bit differently. Lookin’ smooth!
September 25th, 2007 at 8:42 pm
I absolutely *love* this. It is… so beautiful. And wonderful. The art, and the character interaction… makes me very happy. Thank you for making this, and I can’t wait for more. Well, I’ll have to, won’t I? Heh.
This is going into my bookmarks, so I can check up on it. Thank you again. This is wonderful, and I’ve had a fantastic time reading it all the way through.
September 25th, 2007 at 8:49 pm
Wow! Thank you! And you’re welcome!
September 25th, 2007 at 9:20 pm
Poor Eight. He’s taken to talking to himself again… probably because he doesn’t have any companions to talk to.
September 25th, 2007 at 9:50 pm
Now if you could convince the BBC to make this into an animated special or something…oh how happy we would all be!!!
September 25th, 2007 at 10:55 pm
I have to say Thank You! I must say I have enjoyed reading this. I found it back in June and got hooked. Now I have to check everyday so I don’t miss any. I even have it bookmarked on all three of the computers in my house. Please continue, this is the kind of thing I really like and I wish I could find more like it.

-How many pages will there be?-
I’m afraid I have no idea. Many. I’m just letting go and drawing it until it stops.

OMFG THIS IS AMAZING

I saw my first episode when I was visiting relatives in 1976. It was part 1 of “The Masque of Mandragora” and it scared the ever-lovin’ crap out of me. I was 6. I also loved it. The images stuck with me for ages. I wasn’t aware that it was on here in Canada, and wouldn’t have been able to get it if I did (we didn’t have cable and lived in Quebec), but when we went back for Christmas in 1981, I made a point to catch an episode. It was part 1 of “Warrior’s Gate”. I was hooked and this time my grandparents got me the 1981 Doctor Who annual.
I researched it some more and got really drawn into it. When we finally caught up with the modern age and got cable, I managed to find it being broadcast on TV, and it was Peter Davison in “Earthshock”, I believe. I got totally confused by the fact that the Doctor wasn’t Tom Baker. Anyway, it wasn’t long after that that I was able to watch it regularly, bought magazines and anything I could get my hands on. PBS started broadcasting everything from Tom Baker’s first episode onwards. Then another station started showing the old William Hartnell episodes. Once I was able to get them on VHS, nothing was safe.
I have seen every [existing] episode at least once.
I am a large geek.

These two versions of himself seem to have hit it off pretty well. I wonder if how the other personalities are working (or not working!)
September 27th, 2007 at 8:10 am
Rich, only a HUGE Doctor Who fan would be able to capture the essence of each regeneration so well, as well as the personalities of each of the companions. Again, well done, and VERY enjoyable!!!
September 27th, 2007 at 4:26 pm
lol - you’d think by now that 10 would know if his instinct tells him to look one way, he should do a 180 and look around the other!
Now if they can just avoid being the paradox that destoys the universe - yikes!
November 16th, 2007 at 12:32 pm
I presume that when Ten realises he really is on Gallifrey, he’ll say, “But that’s impossible!”
November 30th, 2007 at 4:06 am
Hey, a corridor scene! You can’t have a great Who story without a corridor scene
December 7th, 2007 at 1:30 pm
And there goes the first law of time.

I’m afraid I’m not sure to whom you are referring.
February 9th, 2008 at 1:31 pm
ottselspy24 must be referring to Professor Zaroff.
March 2nd, 2008 at 6:33 pm
Turn around 10! 1! Turn around! No, not that way! Come back…8, run after them!
April 16th, 2008 at 8:59 am
so why do they (does he?) go to Gallifrey in a TARDIS that shouldn’t be able to land there? seems like bad planning on his part
Also, Ten is really quite tall isn’t he?
In panel four, what’s that circley thing at the back of the corridor? I’m new to the series, but I think it was in the movie.
