Are you sure you don’t mean “Humanian” era? Oh never mind, Eight always did have a shaky memory. Anyway…
EGADS! The Keeper! No! IT’S THE V– well I won’t spoil it if anyone hasn’t guessed. Brilliant work man, this is epic on a scale which could only be conceived of in fan fiction!
Not sure about the new site design, though. I miss the tiny thumbnails, they made reading the pages without risking spoilers easier, and the comments were more accessible. And the greenish-blue color… ig. But maybe it’ll grow on me.

Aaah! Dagnabit, I didn’t realise the Keeper looked like….him until Joe nearly gave it away. XD

Webmaster here - the turquoise colour scheme is purely a placeholder until Rich has come up with a final design that he likes, and done some headers for me. The new format is a lot easier to work with from an archival/posting/admin perspective.

what? what, looked like who dammit? GAH!

You know, with just about every one of Doctor Who’s major supervillains running around… gee whiz, which one is the one behind all this?? This is fun, it could be any one of them!
Bet it turns out to be the Monk. Well, no I don’t.

Mwa ha ha ha ha!

Jo, you may possibly be right. Who knows what sort of evil diabolical crack Rich can dream up when he’s doped up on lack of sleep and the smell of baby powder? X3

For the most part I’ve got lots of this already planned out in my evil evil DrWhogeek brain. But once in a while someone will make some comment or prediction that is, in fact, cooler than my idea. So I’ll work it in and pretend I thought of it all along!
Well, no. Not really. This thing is really writing itself. I’m not sure where it’s really going to wind up, just that I have a few scenes I’ve always wanted to see/draw and I’ve got to link them with story.

Either way is cool, Rich. If you’re a competent storyteller, you can make it work quite well in each case. I’ve been doing this for over seven years myself, and have worked with varying degrees of both.

I still don’t know who the keeper is supposed to look like, perhaps i missed something along the way, but i do hope it will be revealed! it’ll drive me bonkers otherwise!
i do hope when you complete all this, (do these yafgc’s ever technically end?) that you find inspiration to offer these out in a nicely displayed printed material, available to the masses!, could make a bit of money on the side

The 10 Doctors WILL come to an end. Eventually. I don’t know how long it will take to get there, but I do know what I want to draw, where to take the story, and how it will all turn out in the end.
When it is done, I think I might do another one. Either more Doctor Who, or perhaps I will tackle some of my other favorite SF shows. Or maybe I’ll play the crossover game.. (The 9th Doctor helps SG:1 fight the Cylons!)
YAFGC is sort of an open ended soap opera/adventure. So I’m hoping that will just go on and on and on and on.
As for getting printed and published… I dunno. I’ve thought about it. I don’t want to clean and colour it and I think I would have to. I’ve thought about it. I’ll see, maybe, someday.
Oh, and sorry about the whole Keeper/familiar face thing. I’d like to say that all will definately become clear, but on the other hand, a lot of this is also inside jokes for the highly geeky. I can’t say more about this particular thing without giving anything away. So I’ll just say this: keep reading, you may or may not get all the answers you’re seeking. Maybe at the end, I’ll put together a huge list of all the inside jokes and references and quotes throughout the comic.

Hint: think of the villain from Trail of a Time Lord. Unless I am thinking of the wrong person here.

fair enough, i thought i was geeky enough to know, but i’ll happily wait, can’t be spoiling it for the rest…
and wildcard, i guess it could be him, i guess i just wasn’t looking hard enough! or i just simply didn’t recognise him cause he was smiling!

LOL @ “Earth during the Humanist Era.” Good one.
November 5th, 2007 at 2:08 am
HIM??? You really are including everyone, aren’t you???
Unless Joe England was wrong, but I don’t think he was- he looks vaguely familiar now…
Of course, I’ve never actually SEEN that story arc, so I might be wrong…

If I was the doctor I would always start my search during the Marxist-Feminist era.
Mind you, it could be throw old Voldemort off the scent.

Rich says: “When it is done, I think I might do another one. Either more Doctor Who, or perhaps I will tackle some of my other favorite SF shows.”
How about a Doctor Who/Brisco County, Jr. crossover?
I’ve been thinking about trying to start a grassroots “recruit Bruce Campbell for an episode or two of Doctor Who” campaign, but I’m quite aware of how unlikely that is, so a webcomic crossover would hold me over nicely. >;D

Hah! Cute. But I’m much more likely to use Bruce as Ash from the Evil Dead series.

M’self, I’ve always wondered about a confrontation between the Daleks and the Borg.
…
The universe as we know it would probably be destroyed, actually…
