The 10 Doctors: page 31
Romana contacts the control room and discovers that a lady Time Lord, a mysterious person from her future, has captured her and the companions for some unknown purpose. She is, in fact, the Rani, and their destination is a meeting with the Cybermen!

Wow, you’re including everyone, aren’t'cha?
Lovin’ it!!
August 17th, 2007 at 2:54 am
Fecken hell! Am I the only one getting the “Dimensions in Time” reference? Less said about that travesty indeed!
August 17th, 2007 at 6:39 am
yah Rani! im glad the new series is including the Master, though a comical, and not the usual brooding calculating master we know of, but i couldn’t help but think, what about the Rani, dammit!, hmm, perhaps proffesor chronotis might miraculously resurface
August 17th, 2007 at 6:54 am
very interesting, so much we miss out on not being in the uk..
never even heard of this dimensions in time,
despite the fact everyone says it was horrible, something i find myself desiring to see regardless, and it seems it was for charity…. nifty
just watched a bit on youtube, sixth doctor with the brigadear!, nice! always regreted that the sixth doc didnt catch up with him, nor will he meet with the ninth or tenth…
August 17th, 2007 at 7:08 am
Yeah, ‘Dimensions in Time’ had a very few good things going for it.
6th Doctor + Brigadier.
K9
6th Doctor + Susan
4th Doctor communicating with the others (”my dears…” Interesting that he seems to have a real affection for his other incarnations. Wish I’d thought of that when I started this comic).
But ohh, the CONS!
Nausia inducing non-stop camera spins
The Doctors don’t interact, they replace eachother.
The Rani being like the Master instead of like the Rani. She had no time for the Master’s revenge plots in “MotR”.
Story is meaningless drivel.
Crossover with a soap opera! What the hell?
Ah well. It was the first new episode since the cancellation. At least they got the actors in the costumes for the 30th anniversary. And it was kinda like the traditional anniversary episodes.
August 17th, 2007 at 1:57 pm
Yea, it was a “Children in Need” charity special done back in 1993. It was actually a Doctor Who - EastEnders crossover that was filmed on the EastEnders set. It had Jon Pertwee, Peter Davidson, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, and Tom Baker believe it or not doing a cameo at the beginning. Generally it’s considered a one off thing and not canonical. It was defiantly a strange one. Lots of companions, lots of monsters, no Daleks though. They filmed them but it had to be cut, couldn’t get Terry Nation to sign off on it. Don’t know what Rich’s policy on discussing file sharing is but you can find it if you look hard enough.
August 17th, 2007 at 6:53 pm
Yay, you’ve updated! That means you’re still alive! Boy, I needed this. Thank you so much. Your story just keeps getting better and better!
August 17th, 2007 at 10:25 pm
Just discovered you. This is really wonderful. All of it. Just wanted to post a quick comment of thanks. And to let you know that you’ve got a(nother) fan.
August 17th, 2007 at 10:37 pm
Fan? My goodness! I don’t think you guys are MY fans… we’re just all Doctor Who fans together.
On the other hand, if you’re following YAFGC as well…
August 18th, 2007 at 12:24 am
Ah, but you are doing the larger fan populace a service and a story which will never be seen on TV. You can count me as another fan of your work. I’m loving it!
August 18th, 2007 at 7:10 pm
heh heh , just think, you could be bigger than jim davis and garfield
August 19th, 2007 at 9:10 am
Well I could easily be funnier.
All I’d need is a sense of humour.
August 19th, 2007 at 10:32 pm
Of course you deserve fans, this is great, and it drew my attention to the equally excellent YAFGC as well, so doubly fan-worthy. I love your style, how expressive and animated all your characters appear.
August 20th, 2007 at 12:21 am
Sorry if everyone else knows this, but ‘YAFGC’?
August 20th, 2007 at 2:27 am
‘Yet another fantasy gamer comic’, if you delete everything from the address bar except http://www.shipsinker.com then you’ll find a link to it.
August 20th, 2007 at 2:28 am
or just click on the link which magically appeared in my last post
August 20th, 2007 at 3:57 am
Ah, great, thank! Looks good. Now I’ll get even less work done this week!
August 20th, 2007 at 4:32 pm
Rich, you’re a wonder! The story grows ever more complex…but no less plausible. You seem to have an astonishing grasp of what, where, when, how, and of course, WHO, as regards the events of the series.
A note of personal glee: I’m delighted to see Ace (whom I always liked a great deal) letting the air out of the jealous and ignorant Rose (whom I always detested, as you can probably tell). And I don’t think it’s just my prejudices at work; no, Ace and Rose would NOT have cared much for one another. Of course, Ace is the one with the brains, the initiative *and* the Nitro-9….
Please, Rich, could we see a bit more of Doctor #6 (Colin Baker)? Before #9 came along, he was the hardest-edged Doctor to date; he’s one of my two favourites, and he never seemed to get the love.
August 20th, 2007 at 6:03 pm
ahh louise, it’s good to know people out there did like six, nobody much cared for him when he first popped up…. that’s not the doctor, he’s brash rough, loud, obnoxious etc etc
i think i said this some place before, but the first doctor was a crotchety old man, who was happy enough to deem everyone else foolish childish brats, heh heh…
i loved the sixth doctor, but who am i kidding, i loved them all!, five was maybe a bit wimpish, but hey, the whole regeneration concept was the greatest thing they invented for the whole show! give us knew and exciting characters, t’was sad that colin left on a sour note with the beeb, and that a propper regeneration scene was never done.
anyway, Rich, your getting a huge fan base goin! fantastic!
August 20th, 2007 at 9:17 pm
I totally agree about Baker C! If anyone is still unconvinced, check out the Big Finish Audios (particularly those with Evelyn Smithe - she really sets off his harsher edges!) and the novels.
I though he was a thousand times better than the actor who replaced him, but that’s just me. Everyone has their top ten, and six and seven are at opposite ends for me.
August 21st, 2007 at 7:19 am
I’ve got to say this, though, about the 6th Doctor.
The writing of the series was at an all time LOW. It’s my benchmark for people who dis any new stuff. “Oh, the Fox film was AWFUL! I refuse to accept it as part of the show!”
“It was a hell of a lot better then anything Colin Baker was in and you accept that.”
I hated his companion (Peri was the single most annoying thing ever with her crap accent and her big mouth), I hated his stories (What the hell was with Vengeance on Varos?) I hated the effects (the rubber snake puppet that attacked Peri), I even hated his Daleks (Their voices were particularly wimpery in that one).
But the beginning of Trial of a Time Lord showed that he could actually be watchable. The writing improved (until the P&J Baker took over *rolls eyes*).
That being said, it was a fascinating concept and the post regeneration stuff with him going ballistic and then trying to isolate himself was WONDERFUL. (I ffwd through the Twin Dilemma crap just to watch Colin).
Anyone see “The Stranger” series?
It was a series of one-off non-profit fan-written episodes in the Doctor Who vein featuring Colin Baker and Nicola Bryant (sans stupid accent) as The Stranger and Ms.Brown. Naturally they coudn’t show the TARDIS, so they just sort of….arrive… wherever they go. I only saw a couple and the stories were generally very complex and confusing and the video quality quite low. But it’s a nice chance to see how Colin would have played the 6th Doctor had he been given any control. And he’s quite good!
August 21st, 2007 at 7:23 am
OH, and for you 6 fans, I do have plans for him to have a shining moment. He’s also a hell of a lot of fun to draw. That’s why I also included Maxil.
August 25th, 2007 at 10:01 pm
I just found this and read it thru - I love this stuff! 4 is my favorite (okay, most of them are my favorites at one time or another…except 6, tho I still liked him after his 2nd story or so) I look forward to seeing more of it.. and while #1 always does treat his regenerations like rambuctious brats, I love that 5 viewed him (it seems in 5Doctors) as his arrogant and techy youth ie: the embarassing hot tempered teen yrs, in contrast to the earlier regenerations #2 #3 reverence.(after all they got the real William Hartnel and owed him for getting the show started!) 5 listened to him out of respect for youth’s trials, just as he listened to his young companions - bit of a reversal of attitude from the other doctors I hope we see a glimpse of that again at some point.
But I’m rambling - looking forward to seeing more!

You have covered a lot of ground with this and should be complimented. SO, is Romano going to get in telepathic connection with HER earlier self too?
August 30th, 2007 at 8:31 am
Romana?
Hmm..
Well, I haven’t written this with the assumption that the President IS Romana.
At the time of writing there’s nothing beyond a few audio dramas to indicate that this is the case and I’m using mostly TV continuity. I’ve left it open for either case. So, I don’t plan to say so either way.
I might write in Romana 1 at some point, maybe.
But then, I could write in all the previous Masters as well…
September 28th, 2007 at 11:39 am
Romana 2 Vs Romana 1

I’ve Put On 23 Pounds In weight just reading these for the last 62 hours
November 5th, 2007 at 2:02 am
OH… MY… GOD…
CYBERMEN ARE CUTE!!!!
The world has surely come to an end.
November 9th, 2007 at 6:30 am
Thats awsome! CYBERMEN! (there my favorites). And all them companions with poor old sue at the back all confused :D.
November 14th, 2007 at 3:12 am
Is the “next” link supposed to point to an installment of 24fps?
November 14th, 2007 at 9:40 am
Ah, yes.
See, this blog is a generic one for my comics that aren’t YAFGC. So, if you just go through the entries, you’ll come across whatever I updated next, Doctor Who, 24fps, Thursday 9, whatever.
If, however, you check the ‘catagory’ tag DrWho, you should get just “The 10 Doctors” entries.
I think. Theoretically.
November 27th, 2007 at 8:44 am
Is there nothing between page 31 and page 64? wheres pages 32 to 63 please?
November 27th, 2007 at 8:53 am
They’re all there. Click the “archive” link at the top of this page, right above the comic, and you’ll be taken to a list of all of them.
December 7th, 2007 at 9:18 pm
I was wondering too about if you continued or waiting to finish it! Until now, the story is verrrry good as one of my wish realised.
Tough, poor Rose! She’s more hysterical than Tegan. I hope that she’ll improve.
You have a good drawing style BTW!
December 7th, 2007 at 10:28 pm
The story is still on-going. Up to page 73 now. Read on!
December 30th, 2007 at 12:20 pm
The “nausea-inducing non-stop camera spins” were because DiT was originally filmed in a cheap form of 3D that only worked when things were spinning.
February 7th, 2008 at 10:16 pm
Ah, yes…the first appearance of the newly gorgeous Rani. I still think she’s regenerated.
March 2nd, 2008 at 3:37 pm
Don’t worry, Celticfox, that’s what I though about Attack of the Cybermen (mom? are those evil? yes, they are. WHAT???)
April 16th, 2008 at 3:19 pm
“EXCELLENT!” Go, Cybercontroller, go!
