The 10 Doctors: page 28
A TARDIS in the shape of a long shed materializes around the companions, then dematerializes, kidnapping them. In a blind emotional panic, the 9th Doctor leaps into his TARDIS and takes off, while it is still wired up to the 1st, 2nd, 5th and 7th Doctors’ TARDISes. The energy begins to discharge through the strained cables.

I love 9’s reaction to Rose being gone. 9 (and 10) seems to be closer to Rose than the Doctor ever was with other companions.

Going backwards to remember all the plot threads, with any luck.
Just realized how you saved Nine’s reaction for last: absolutely spot on.

Actually, the Doctor never vocally told Rose he loved her (Though it was utterly evident, especially when he had to say goodbye) The writers wanted to make the Doctor aloof, but he does tell one of his companions that he loves her. I think a lot of the relationship/emotional bondings the Doctor has with his new companions is due to the fact that writers of today are more into the drama and twisting of heartstrings to keep people tuned in, as opposed to in the classic series Doctor Who was about a different kind of drama/sci fi

Well, after seeing the death and destruction of the Time War, it seems like the Doctor’s mind kinda closed up and his personality became colder and such. Rose is a foil to that with her caring attitude, and I think she kida brings him back, at least partially, to what he was before the war.
Honestly, that’s how I see it and how I forced myself to justify it until it sunk in. It still annoys me how everyone freezes at the mention of her, though.

Nice job…of course 9 would run off to save her…

9 and 10 need people more, there aren’t any of them left, if you were the last, wouldn’t you get sort of depressed?

A TARDIS shaped like a shed! Although, I have to say I feel sorry for them. Can’t be conspicuous, so no Eiffel Towers or Big Bens…maybe not even an ice cream stand. One of these days a TARDIS will look like a portable toliet.
